From families to bicycle touring, a hostel for all needs

Contignano's geographic location and vocation for hospitality made it natural to open a hostel that offers itself to a public appropriate to its structure (families, sportsmen, groups of friends gathered for recreation or for specific purposes) and is integrated into a village that, in addition to the important presence of the "Val D'Orcia Caseificio", is home to the only public swimming pool in a large surrounding area, three businesses including restaurants, pizzerias and pubs, a hotel and a widespread network of agritourisms and B&Bs.

More specifically, the San Rocco is proposed as a valuable stopover for bicycle tourists, since an official stage of the Francigena “by bike” passes through here, right in front of the hostel, and behind it is a bike maintenance station with a cycle workshop, e-bike charging station and four bike parking stands from the www.sweetroad.it project. www.sweetroad.it.
